Straight after the journey, six of us will head down the coast to Heritance Ayurveda, a beachfront retreat in Beruwala where looking after you is the whole point. You’ll meet an Ayurvedic doctor on arrival, and from there everything is shaped around you: your treatments, your meals, even your daily rhythm. Mornings start with yoga and meditation as the sea comes in. Afternoons are for treatments, long lunches and doing absolutely nothing.
